Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Rachel says that a hairdresser taped Toto r's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Toto r became bloody and upset.
Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Toto r’s paws appeared to be red and inflicted with injuries. The toenails had been cut too near to the paw which probably triggered his biting response."
Wow! My Dog, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
Rachel took Toto immediately to the vet for immediate medical attention. He joined a number of others in accusing Wow! My Dog for animal abuse. San Mateo's Office has now launched an here animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.
Rachel described the injuries he observed, stating, "I noticed wounds near the joints, around the neck, and in the genital area. The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."
Marianna De las Vegas posted on Yelp a review about how Wow! My Dog returned his animals to him in a bad condition or with injuries. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

Wow! My Dog wants its customers to understand what their groomer said to him. After all, they trusted this person with the care of their animals. Rachel said, "Juliann told me that tapering the mouth shut was a normal, acceptable method. He claimed it is better than using a muzzle which, according to him, can be harmful for dogs. He also said he personally used this method on his dog."
Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. She quickly responded that Wow! My Dog was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
